Assistant Accountant
East Belfast

- £28,000 per annum**Reed Recruitment is excited to be working with a Construction Group based in East Belfast. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant to take the next step within their career, and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and established Accountancy Team.

The accountancy team is made upof 2 qualified Accountants and one Payroller, and so plenty of support is on offer.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of month end management accounts, yearend audited accounts forecast and financial reports
High volume purchase ledger invoice processing
Supplier statement reconciliations
Weekly payroll processing
Processing and submitting VAT returns
Processing and submitting CIS returns
Sales ledger invoice processing and credit control processes
Ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
General accounting duties in relation to the finance function

Essential Criteria:
