Time to take the step into technical leadership?Perhaps you have been mentoring or leading a team for a while now and it is time to take that further.

This opportunity will see you "own" the backend, and you'll be responsible for how to best implement the changes required to the platform.

You will lead the team in their development work, utilising your strong knowledge of Python/Django and the wider infrastructure including:
AWS, Terraform and Github actions for the company's CI deployments.

You would actively engage with your team and the wider engineering function, playing a key part in the design of code, driving cross functional improvements and the whole software development lifecycle.

The company has grown over the past several years as their success has facilitated the requirement for more engineers to evolve the platform.

Primarily, you will be architecting and writing great code to solve problems that arise as the platform is developed further and new applications are added.

You will have lots of autonomy to lead your team into the best solution that you see fit, guiding and mentoring them through the process.

The role is fully remote across the UK, with the possibility of some international travel for company wide "tech weeks".
