Newrest is looking for a _Senior _Warehouse_ Administrator _to support its activities at London Heathrow.

Responsible for providing administrative support in regard to stock management and maintaining excellent standards of communication among suppliers, customers and internal departments at all times.


CONTRACT:
Full-time, Permanent, Starting as soon as possible.


LOCATION:
London Heathrow





SALARY:
Average earnings of £28,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained and all airline(s) equipment and local purchase stock items are accounted for in line with the targeted inventory goals.
  • To ensure all the relevant goods receipt documentation is completed and WINREST system updated to complete output forms for stock leaving the warehouse.
  • Review, check and validation of stock take.
  • Carrying out accurate weekly stock count for ordering.
  • Assist in Conducting monthly inventories according to schedule and monitor stock levels to detect material reaching low stock and request cabin load of material and inform the supervisor regarding changes, material shortages, excess and any deviations, etc.
  • Coordinate and liaison with internal and external customers to ensure effective and accurate deliveries are adhered to at all times.
  • Responsible for managing costs at the unit level including stock, hours, overheads and repairs to ensure company financial targets are achieved.
  • Record, report breakages i.e., China, glass.
  • Record, report food wastage.
  • Attend daily operational meetings/briefings.
  • Present accurate information and data as requested.
  • Manage end to end process which includes various work streams / activities.
  • Instigate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
  • Drive, direct and implement unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
  • Any other duties as requested by your manager.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse, inventory or stock room experience.
  • Proven communication skills across the departments and function lines.
  • Strong computer skills using Word, Excel and ERP systems.
  • Operational awareness, understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific)
  • Selfmotivated, committed and enthusiastic and the ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast pace environment.
