    Collections Advisor

    Agenda Partnership is working with a Kettering based client who are seeking a Collections Advisor to join their team on a full time, permanent basis who will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of business accounts directing and coordinating collections on bad debt accounts and advising on any collections issue.

    In addition, this role will be the main point of contact between the business and the business representatives who are field based to maintain and build relationships and promote the features and benefits of a credit programme to support with account receivables and bad debt with their clients.

    Manage the receivables and collections which will be 70% of the working week
    Report and track net losses to sales management
    Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status
    Recommend legal action to management and carry out all necessary court follow up action
    Ensure collection procedures adhere to corporate policy
    Developing strong business relationships with Regional sales management and the Regional franchise sales force to achieve sales goals
    Promote Credit Sales programs to the field at every opportunity
    Educate field sales personnel on program features and benefits
    Experience of directly related collections experience in a Financial Services environment
    Professional telephone manner
    Excellent computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office
