We have a fantastic new vacancy for an a Accounts Assistant in The Halyard in Rope Walks Liverpool. To join our Opening team.

About The Halyard at Ropewalks Liverpool, Vignette Collection
A 133 bedroom hotel due to open in October 2023.

It's in a fantastic downtown location in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool, one of the UK's hippest areas, the perfect place for IHG's Luxury Lifestyle brand.

The hotel will feature a smart restaurant and bar, and we've located the gym, the meeting room and the suites on the top floor to take advantage of the amazing views of this vibrant city from their balconies.


Responsibilities:


  • What you'll be doing..._


You will take charge of the day to day processing of all reconciliation in accordance with hotel accounting and financial controls, policies and procedures.


Your main duties as a Accounts Assistant:

  • Reconcile the cash received by the front office and POS on daily basis.
  • Ensure any corrections are completed on the Opera and POS, as needed.
  • Banking money on daily basis.
  • Order all change for the front office according to their request and needs.
  • Credit card reconciliation on daily basis. All corrections to be made on Opera as needed as well as on excel.
  • Credit cards charge back to be rectified immediately and to do corrections in Opera as needed.
  • Manage Hotel Petty cash expenditure.
  • To check the Management consumption daily and ensure this is authorised by the General Manager.
  • Allowances and voids have to be checked on daily basis and to be authorised by the General Manager
  • File all the above mentioned in the proper files.
  • Daily revenue report to be completed on a daily basis.
  • Reconciliation of the bank accounts at month end.
  • Assist the Assistant Financial Controller with the month end reporting process.
  • Any other reasonable tasks requested by the CFC / Assistant Financial Controller.
