JOB TITLE:
Security Officer




LOCATION:
Xsite Braehead, Renfrewshire




PAY RATE:
£10.91 per hour




WORKING HOURS:
Full time (40h per week)

Schedule:

-
8 & 10 hour shifts:


  • 5 over 7 day weeks a mix of days & nights:
-
10 week rotation ( easier to forecast your holidays)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:


PLEASE NOTE THAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ASKED TO WORK TOWARDS OBTAINING A CCTV LICENCE if they do not hold one already.

  • To readily interact with all visitors / tenants within the buildings, delivering a world class customer focused service.
  • Carry out regular patrols of the centre as detailed in the security assignment instructions being proactive and always following the company security strategy.
  • Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful always whilst carrying out duties to the highest levels.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors to the centre proactively helping wherever opportunities arise.
  • Intelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals logging and reporting incidents in line with company and centre policies.
  • Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events.

Person Specification:


  • Verbal and written English is essential due to the nature of the business
  • Good team player
  • Attention to detail
Essential

  • SIA qualification (required)
Desirable

  • CCTV qualification (Desirable)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Desirable)
- security: 1 year (Desirable)

  • Full UK driving license
