The Expeditor will be directly responsible for overseeing the purchasing and receipt of subcontracted services such as plating, heat treatment, testing, and machining

Responsibilities:

Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of services from sub-contractorsBuild close relationships with Operations Manager, Production Planning Team and Dispatch/Logistics team.

Coordinate with suppliers to communicate timelines and requirements for each orderTrack and report on the status of all orders in progressResolve any issues or delays in the delivery of servicesCollaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate ordering and forecastingCoordinate with the production team to schedule services in alignment with production needsSourcing and negotiating contracts with external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining quality standardsContinuously improve and streamline the expediting process to increase efficiencyQualifications:
