We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team at a thriving Manufacturing & Retail SME.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making and drive business performance.

Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance to support decision-making
Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
Support ad hoc projects and analysis as required
Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• 23 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing or Retail sector
• Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial principles
• Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

At least 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or retail SME
Proven track record of providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
Experience in driving financial performance and supporting business decision-making
Familiarity with accounting standards and financial regulations
Experience in developing and improving financial processes and controls
Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock management
