    Our successful Belfast Water team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to work across a number of frameworks with various clients.

    As a Senior Engineer, you will be supported and encouraged to maintain your CPD and embrace initiatives to help you further develop your own skills and career.

    Producing feasibility studies, including financial and non-financial comparisons.
    Liaising and collaborating with process, mechanical environmental, planning, geotechnical, structural teams.
    Managing FIDIC / NEC contracts and perform financial project management including regular invoicing, early warning and change controls.
    Engaging with energy and renewable teams to develop SUDs and renewable energy solutions for wastewater and water sites.
    Managing junior staff and check work.
    Developing AutoCAD design package and check of AutoCAD work.
    Ensuring CDM compliance throughout design and construction.
    You will be key to delivering wastewater treatment plant upgrades for Uisce Éireann and Northern Ireland Water.

    You will work alongside our project managers and lead design engineers for a variety of UK & Ireland clients, throughout the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of water and wastewater utility projects to include carrying out feasibility studies, reference designs, detailed designs and preparation of reports and technical specifications.

    You will be part of a core team of around 6x Civil Engineers and a wider team of 30+ of Civil Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Modellers, Structural Engineers, Planners, Ecologists and CAD Technicians.

    The role will be a flexible working from home and office-based hybrid role.
    Engineering degree qualified
    Be experienced in compiling feasibility studies on wastewater treatment and/or infrastructure projects.
    Be experienced in the development of contract preparation and administration using NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract.
