Job description

We are looking for part time Support Assistants to join our team to support the learning and care of adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge at our specialist day care setting, The Well, Kidwelly.


We are looking for passionate, resilient and creative individuals who are able to do what it take to motivate and support our service users to achieve their potential.


Using the frameworks of Positive Behavioural Support to provide a behavioural service within a dedicated day centre setting and on activities within the community.


Role Requirements:

  • Experience working with and supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge.
  • Keen to progress in their professional development and committed to achieve further qualifications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with a range of staff.
  • Ability to analyse and distribute complex information.
  • Ability to use monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Qualifications in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
The role will involve working a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts.


Rate of pay will start at £10.92 per hour, after completion of 6 months probationary period and training the rate of pay will increase to £12.35 per hour.


About Us

Reflect Education are independent care and education providers for children and adults with complex needs and learning difficulties in Carmarthenshire.


Alongside other settings Reflect Education operate The Well, a dedicated day centre for adults on the autism spectrum which is small and unique.

We pride ourselves on being able to provide high levels of support (2:1) to a small number of service users to ensure excellent quality provision is maintained.

Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week

From £10.92 per hour
