Close to the beautiful Lough Erne and Cuilcagh Mountain and a popular tourist attraction featuring the Marble Arch Caves, Stairway to Heaven, Florence Court, there is much to see and do in this beautiful town. Our client is looking for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join their modern, well facilitated practice on a full time basis. You will be joining an experienced and friendly team consisting of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Student Nurses, 3 PCA's, 3 CCA's, an administrator and an office manager. The practice is well facilitated, offering modern facilities including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, x-ray, dentistry, endoscopy and much more. Your job role will include but is not limited to managing the performance of the practice on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures, ensuring all team members provide quality and ethical care to all clients and their pets/livestock, assess, examine and diagnose patients' medical issues and maintain patients' medical records. The successful candidate must be registered with the RCVS and have a genuine commitment to animal welfare. The ability to keep on top of practice protocols and procedures is essential and you must have excellent communication skills.
- Full time - 39 hour week
- Working over 4 days
- 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
- Excellent salary up to £65,000
