Within the Oncology department we really value our staff, all staff play an important role in the day to day running of our clinical services making sure that patient care is at the forefront of all we do.
This post will support the department to achieve EWTD Compliance, Income, Activity, Patient Care, Performance Targets, they will be responsible for ongoing staff training, supervision and support to activate, discharge, book appointments, code visits, manage patients, transport, respond to queries and ensure Flex is updated in real time.
We rely on our administrative team to support across our division and you will be joining a team that is working hard to transform the way we provide face to face and all other means of patient administrative contact services.
As part of the digital transformation, we are constantly looking at innovative ways and ideas to transform administrative tasks moving us forward towards a 'digital first' approach.

They must have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Trust's outpatient appointment booking processes and the systems that support this function, specifically the National Spine, Quadramed and BI Portal.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clinicians, managers and others within the Specialty Business Unit and with trust wide service users.
