    Description

    A leading fit-out and refurbishment contractor based in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team. They're a prominent name in the commercial office sector, but also have an impressive portfolio of projects spanning hospitality, healthcare, education and more.

    As Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
    • Supervise and coordinate on-site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
    • Monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues or delays promptly
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
    • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and documentation
    • Proactively identify risks and implement measures to mitigate them
    Requirements:
    • Demonstrable Site Management experience within the fit-out and refurbishment sector
    • Working knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
    • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
