We're seeking an ambitious, talented and motivated individual to drive an international marketing project at Ardent, an established SME operating globally for nearly 30 years.
The Role
This 18 month Knowledge Transfer Partnership project will see you:
- Develop a systemised approach to international market development, with a full analysis of the existing market and landscape, enabling Ardent to leverage distinct capabilities in domestic and overseas target markets
- Identify and deliver innovation initiatives in international markets, investigate new markets in growing technology areas, and embed dynamic capabilities to support this.
- Identify and embed continuous improvement processes within the Ardent team to ensure that international strategy development remains agile and meets growth opportunities.
- Work with the Ardent team to develop and realise new international markets for Ardent's products and services
- Embed evaluation, monitoring and communication processes that allow for iterative development and continuous improvement, achieving a sustainable platform for future growth.
The Company
Ardent Ltd is a well-run, profitable SME business based in Roecliffe, North Yorkshire - easily accessible to both Harrogate and York within 30-35 minutes.
Established in 1993 the business has a well-respected reputation and profile in the UK and overseas for specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of fire suppression protection equipment for vehicles.
The company's products are deployed in large machinery and mobile plant equipment but also within critical infrastructure including public buses.
The business has experienced steady, organic growth and currently employs 55 members of staff and operates across diverse sectors and markets including mining & quarrying, civil engineering, rail and recycling and waste.
The Person
Work experience in a commercial environment, understanding the key challenges of an SME would also be relevant. Recent graduates could also reference any work-related experience or projects that have developed their skills. i.e. placements or internships.
Strong inter-personal skills and experience of project management are required.
KTP
You will lead the project as part of the nationally acclaimed KTP scheme and will be upskilled via a personal development package to deliver this project using best practice in project management.
