30am - 5pmSalary: £31000+ DOEMetalis is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Press Brake Draughtsman/Cutting Operative. Our client are open to levels of experience including graduates with CNC CAD Experience. They hire largely on attitude and a willingness to learn.

Job Duties: Programming CNC 3D waterjet, flame cutting, and press brake machinesSupport and problem solve customer queries with the sales teamEffective time management and proactive organisational skillsEnsure production runs efficiently through nesting and time planningProgramming Flame cutting machineryProgramming Bystronic Press Brake OperationsProgramming WJS 3D Waterjet MachineryEfficient part nesting on all sheet sizes for maximum YieldSupporting sales staff with order confirmations and feedbackManagement of job orders and process schedulingIdentifying possible production improvements and increasing process efficiencies

Job Requirements:

CAD Experience essential (SolidWorks preferred)Ability to read technical drawings essentialExperience with manufacturer specific Bystronic, Trumpf and Waterjet Sweden software preferredA willingness to learn new skills is required as full training will be given to suitable candidates.
