    We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our client based in Aberdeen on a permanent basis. Competitive salary and Benefits package.

    The role of the Technical Superintendent is to assist the Senior Asset Integrity Manager in the technical and maintenance management of the fleet. Although predominantly an office-based position, offshore and yard visits are required.

    The Technical Superintendent role includes:

    • Providing technical support to the vessel team, including arranging OEM and specialist contractors where required for services, repairs and planning purposes.
    • Ensuring adherence to the Company technical and maintenance policies and procedures at all times.
    • Monitoring Class and Statutory certification, and liaising with Classification Societies in order to arrange surveys and closure of CC's CAs, etc
    • Monitoring the Prosafe Computerised Maintenance Management System KPIs on a routine basis, providing support and feedback to the vessel team.
    • Providing assistance and guidance in the development and execution of project scopes of work.
    • Developing plans and budgets for capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects in conjunction with the both Vessel Manager and Projects Department.
    • Coordinating and executing CAPEX projects for which they are responsible and work as part of Project teams for larger reactivation and SPS projects.
    • Providing technical input into investigations as required.
    • Conducting routine vessel technical audits.
    • Assisting with the planning for vessel mobilisations/de-mobilisations and pre-contract preparations.
    • Preparing engineering Management of Change requests where required.
    • Assisting in Operational Risk Assessments when required.
    • Active role in Emergency Response including participation in the Duty Management Group rota

    Job requirements

    · Marine or technical engineering degree, Senior Marine Qualification (STCW III/2) or equivalent.

    · Knowledge of maintenance management.

    · Knowledge of integrity management.

    · Good organisational and communication skills.

    · Computer literate in typical Microsoft packages such as Office, Project, PowerPoint, etc.

    · Familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.

    · Familiar with regulatory requirements including Class, Flag and HSE.

    Basic Safety Training Requirements:

    · Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)

    · Certificate of Offshore Medical Fitness (OGUK Medical or equivalent).
