    The Role

    Our Private Client department, which is recognised by the independently researched Legal 500 as tier 1 firm in the East Midlands, is looking to expand and is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Apprentice Paralegal, to join the team at our Nottingham office.

    You will be based in our Court of Protection, Charity, and Trust Administration team, focusing on the safeguarding and support of vulnerable people.

    The team manage a substantial workload of attorney and deputy appointments, assisting their vulnerable clients with the management of the property and financial affairs.

    You will be working closely with the Partners, Senior Associates, Associates, and other Paralegals in this team as well as providing support to the wider Private Client department.

    With an eye for detail, you will need to have excellent communication and people skills.

    Naturally self-motivated and enthusiastic, this role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to gain experience and pursue a career in the legal industry.

    Your academic and competency training will be through a CILEx provider. CILEx provide effective and accessible training for a wide range of professional and vocational legal and business admin qualifications.
    You will be given one day a week as supported study time within the working week. This is remote working and you will be expected to maintain your CILEx objectives and tasks.
    The successful candidate will have at least 5 GCSE grades A*-C/9-4 including Maths and English.
    If your application is successful, your will be asked to attend an assessment day with other qualifying candidates. This will be a full day at our Nottingham office.
