Main purpose of Role:
Provision of operational documentation and materials to support the customer services team to deliver client projects accurately, timely and to the relevant standards


Main responsibilities:

The Project Specialist is responsible for:

  • Supporting new product introduction as required with the Project Management and Operational teams (e.g., Hazard Data sheets).
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation (e.g., batch documentation, works orders). JDE data entry, updates and maintenance as required with support from Associate Project Managers, Project Managers and Business Unit Managers.
  • Liaising with Warehouse, Print Services, Artwork, Production and Quality teams to support project setup and daytoday activities.
  • Production of study specific documentation to support the Project Managers to deliver client projects in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Raising batch documents for work orders in good time prior to production, as defined by the production plan.
  • Maintain and improve Key Performance Indicators as defined by senior management. For example (but not limited to) On Time Delivery, revenue targets, Right First Time, Schedule Adherence, minimising stock requirements.
  • Promotes continuous improvement in all aspects of Commercial packaging and contributes positively and proactively.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) policies, procedures, rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.

Work experience and skills required:
Essential

  • Experience from an administrative background
  • Awareness and understanding of GMP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and to work well under pressure
  • Discipline to work unsupervised
  • Excellent planning and organising skills to multitask various projects at different stages of development
  • Selfmotivated.
  • Willingness to be flexible regarding working hours and willingness to take on extra responsibilities during busy periods
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical/healthcare Company (desirable)
  • Experience in a customerfacing role (desirable)
  • Support continuous improvement activities (desirable)

Qualifications required:

  • Maths and English GCSE, A-C or equivalent
