Senior Procurement Specialist 12 months Edinburgh Inside IR35 Our Public Sector client is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to come in on a 12-month contract. The role suits someone who has a Public Sector background.
Essential Skills,
- Knowledge and understanding of public procurement policy and procedures, including full endtoend procurement process in accordance with public sector procurement legislation, procurement strategy development, tendering and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyse information from a variety of sources, draw out key messages in order to problemsolve and/or make recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and develop constructive working relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills that clearly convey commercial ideas and information, enable effective liaison with customers and stakeholders and can influence senior level decision makers.
