About the role:

We are seeking a resourceful self starter to join our team as an Operations Specialist.

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to implement efficiency and organisational measures aimed at ensuring the smooth running of the company.

Your primary responsibility will be to help drive optimisation of operational processes and administration across the company to drive cost-effectiveness, improving overall organisation and efficiency and providing support on ad hoc projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the COO and internal process stakeholders to scope, ideate and gather necessary data to make a case for operational initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide research and analysis on various topics as requested, providing insights and recommendations to support decisionmaking.
  • Analyse KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Research, demo and make a case for new tools and systems that could be used to improve productivity in response to needs and also recognising needs themselves.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to drive continuous improvement.
  • Any other ad hoc projects that help the organisation and smooth administration of business.

What you'll need to succeed:


  • Proven experience in operations management, process improvement, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actions.
  • Highly resourceful, with ability to work independently to find answers themselves.
  • Self starter who does not need to wait for instruction to fill their work day, they look for bottlenecks and anticipate problems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all teams across the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically excel and experience with process mapping and workflow optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change
  • Behave with utmost discretion and professionalism
