Futures Recruitment is working with a longstanding client based in Midhurst who is looking for a Finance Assistant to help on a temporary basis, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

This is an immediate start - 20th March 2023.

Your role will be to contribute to the efficient operation of the finance department and help provide the financial information necessary to facilitate decision making.

The role:

Supplier procedure from procurement to payment
Production of weekly supplier payment run, including expenses/credit card and Italian purchases
Monthly VAT return
Process of customer receipts, aspects of credit control and invoice finance
Bank reconciliations and maintenance of cashflow
Processing weekly and monthly payroll including P32 payments
Assist with month end stock take (Finished Goods and Raw Materials/Packaging)
Month end preparation, reporting and analysis
General office duties
Electronic & manual recording of data as required by role, specific but not limited to Stock Management System
Attendance at company mandatory & role specific internal & external Learning & Development sessions

About you:

You will have a formal AAT qualification
Have an understanding of Accounts, Payroll processing and P32 submissions
You will have Sage Accounting and Payroll experience
Mircosoft Office, specifically Excel knowledge
You will need good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Have a flexible approach to work with good interpersonal and communication skills
