    Role Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our Digital & Tech team and assist in key data projects within the business. Triple Point is currently undergoing a large system implementation and data migration project. The intention of this role is to bolster our in-house data team during a peak period of the project, assisting in all facets related to data collation, preparation, manipulation, movement, and analysis.

    This is a contract role for a period of 6-9 months, assisting the project team through to go live and possibly beyond. You will work closely with all project team members, particularly the Senior Data Analyst, helping them to devise the best path forward and utilising your experience to suggest alternative approaches.

    The right individual will have experience of the full data journey, from collation and profiling to scripting and report writing. They can work in an agile structure, understanding the right level of depth to deploy differing elements of a data architecture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strong SQL knowledge, particularly; CTEs, Complex Joins, and window functions (T-SQL/MySQL)
    • Knowledge of Stored Procedures, Streams, Dynamic Tables, and Tasks (in SQL and/or JavaScript)
    • Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and procedures
    • Understand the purpose, functionality and deployment of unit tests in a data pipeline
    • Python skills; be able to write scripts for data processing, cleaning, transformation and analysis
    • Knowledge of various Python packages; pandas, SQLite
    • Power BI experience; including DAX, Power Query & m-code
    • Strong Excel knowledge, for data analysis, visualisation and report automation
    • Understanding of Snowflake environment
    • Comfortable working with senior and junior business stakeholders
    • Comfortable explaining technical subjects and processes to a non-technical audience
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Detailed-orientated with strong interpersonal skills
