The role of the Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect is to support the team in both project delivery and ongoing run, administration and improvements to Microsoft 365 collaboration products and platforms.
Duties include;
- Designing modern workplace solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform in line with best practice, along with undertaking migrations into Microsoft 365 and between cloud platforms
- Take endtoend ownership of shaping solutions, defining the right architectural approach, and delivering projects
- Work with key stakeholders to innovate, solve problems, embrace new technologies and provide solutions to the business that improves business operations
- Administration, implementation, and maintenance of current and new Microsoft 365 cloud services and platforms
- Perform daytoday 3rd level technical support, and/or coordinate issue resolution with support venders or other IT teams
- Help define data security strategies to protect client and corporate and ensure security is part of our DNA
- Coach and mentor junior team members, and assist in the provision of firstclass services and consistent levels of capability as required by the business
- Help define and deliver a cloud strategy to support business integration and the migration of workloads from onpremise deployments to the Cloud
- Proactively perform maintenance activities and document technical solutions
- Ensure defined Change Management Process is followed for any change from agreed upon scope, schedule, or quality
- Assist project leads with project issues and risk, milestone tracking, work coordination, etc.
In addition to excellent communication, collaboration and people management skills, you should possess very good organisational skills, be a pragmatic person and highly focused on delivery. Experience required;
- Excellent knowledge of Identity management systems (Azure AD, ADFS, MFA, SAML), Office 365 (Planning and migrations), automation/scripting skills and Azure infrastructure deployments
- An Microsoft 365 SME, with strong skills in Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, Intune, and the Power Platform
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, architecture, solutions, and platforms
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years professional experience in a multiplatform IT environment (ideally three years+ in a consultative position beneficial)
- Able to demonstrate expertlevel understanding of cloud computing technologies, specifically Microsoft Cloud Services
- An energetic and inspirational technologist, able to motivate those around them, with a proactive drive and enthusiasm to ensure delivery of highquality IT services combined with a premium user experience
- Building on proven experience in both support and consultancy roles, you will also have excellent project management experience
- A natural problem solver, analytical, inquisitive with a desire to keep up with emerging technologies, along with high level of selfmotivation, innovation, and the drive to really make a difference
