Job Purpose:
- Assist the Payroll & Benefits Manager to deliver both UK and European benefit programs that support and enhance the employee experience.
- Coordinate all aspects of benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, life events, and leavers.
- Work with HR colleagues and the wider business to support our Wellbeing strategy.
All employees within the team work autonomously in their day to days roles however there are always side projects to get involved in which enable collaborative working.
TMHCC operates a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.The required day in the office is Wednesday and the other days are arranged to meet business needs in agreement with your line manager.
***Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of employee benefits records on Workday and work with payroll team to ensure employee payroll records are updated in a timely manner.
- Reconcile benefit data regularly to ensure employee benefit coverage and payroll deductions are accurate.
- Assist with benefits queries from employees in the UK and across Europe in a timely and courteous manner.
- Responsible for reenrolment of the UK pension scheme and associated tasks
- Responsible for preparation of monthly benefit returns for the UK and Europe, such as UK and Germany pension reports, UK PMI new hires, changes, and leavers report.
- Document and maintain benefits processes and ensure they are kept up to date.
- Support with the annual UK and European benefit plan renewals such as Life Assurance, Income Protection and Private Medical Insurance. Reconcile any associated invoices.
- Update content on intranet pages related to benefits and work with the Marketing team to increase employee engagement and awareness of benefits.
- Contribute to the research, analysis, and development of the Company's benefit programmes.
- Responsible for thoroughly understanding statutory and voluntary benefits programs for the UK and Europe and sharing relevant knowledge with the wider HR team.
Skills and Experience Specification:
Essential:
- Prior experience of benefits administration in financial services or similar professional industry
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach to, and delivery of work
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Exposure to International Benefit Administration would be an advantage
- A high level of attention to detail and numeracy, and the ability to deliver high quality output in a
- Showing initiative and proactivity by seeking and suggesting improvements to processes
- Excellent team working skills as well as the ability to work autonomously
Desirable:
- Ability to speak a second European language
- Experience of utilising Workday for Benefits Administration
