    Position Overview:

    We are a Payment Service Provider specialising in high risk sectors, and looking to expand our team with an opening for a Sales Consultant.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven and results-oriented individual to join a dynamic sales team of a start-up that has a clear strategic growth plan.

    The Sales Consultant should be highly motivated, determined and an excellent communicator. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual with a few years of experience in sales. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients. The primary focus of the role will be generating new business opportunities and maximising sales potential.

    Responsibilities:

    The Sales Consultant responsibilities include:

    • Identification of and pursuing new sales leads through various channels, including referrals, trade shows, LinkedIn and other channels and cold calling if required.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential target customers and understand market trends.
    • Understand and communicate features and benefits to potential customers, highlighting how our offerings meet their specific needs.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
    • Negotiate sales deals and take approval of senior management ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and the customer.
    • Maintains knowledge of the business, payment offerings, industry trends, competitor activities, and product enhancements to provide accurate information to clients.
    • Meet and exceed sales quotas and contribute to the overall growth and success of the sales team.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market intelligence to the sales manager.
    • Ensures that activities are conducted in accordance to internal procedures, international standards and Regulatory regulations.
    • Supports development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry and corporate standards.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    2. Experience in the payments industry preferred

    3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

    4. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a consultative selling environment of payment products.

    5. Strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail.

    6. Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive for success.

    7. Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and win customer confidence.

    8. Solid understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer behaviour.

    9. Computer literate with high level of proficiency in using CRM software (SalesForce) and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.

    10. The ability to stay calm and focused in a very fast paced, ever changing environment

    11. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
