    Project Engineer


    Our client is expanding its UK business and seeking a Project Engineer to support project planning, development, and delivery activities, focusing on larger contracts and off-site build solutions in the water industry.

    We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual with a water industry background.

    Location:
    Alton, Hampshire. Hybrid working may be possible by agreement.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Support Team Lead/Project Managers, coordinate with on-site personnel, conduct site visits, and liaise with clients for project delivery planning.
    Ensure timely HSQE documentation, plan project timelines, organize technical meetings, and maintain project documentation.

    Enforce safe work practices, report incidents, liaise with safety officers, accommodate site inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

    Coordinate project finances, purchase project components, enter data into internal systems, and retrieve financial reports for project status reporting.
    Attend Contracts team meetings, produce case studies, and perform other duties as required.

    Key Skills & Experience:

    Engineering or science degree, HND, or equivalent.
    Minimum one-year postgraduate experience in project engineering, technical sales/support, or applications/R&D within utilities or M&E engineering.
    Experience in the UK water industry is advantageous.
    Advanced MS Office skills, report writing, and strong communication skills.
    Willingness to travel nationwide and hold a full driving license.

    Package:


    Salary:
    £35,000-£45,000 negotiable based on experience.
