The Company
A well-established family run business based in Birmingham that produces high quality bathroom accessories for the hotel and contract market.
Working within the administration team in their offices located in Birmingham city centre, the role comes with onsite parking, working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
This is a brand-new role with the ability to implement your own ideas to support the field sales team in the new business function, you will be working in a team of 3 close knit administrators in an established family run business that have continued plans for growth.
The essence of the roleSupporting the field sales team and other administrators with admin support on the new business function of the company.
Scope of the Sales Coordinator role
- Be the goto person for interdepartmental communication between the field sales team and the office in China where they source new products
- Liaise with the field sales team and the warehouse to gain updates on shipment dates and stock enquiries
- Update the CRM system (salesforce) and producing quotes
- Admin support for the field sales team when they are out meeting new and existing clients
- Assisting the sales team when needed by qualifying leads and projects via outbound calls
- Experience using salesforce would be an advantage but not essential
- Sales administration experience is essential
- Previously worked in an office environment
- Enthusiastic and keen to be hands on in a role
- Good computer skills and proficient in Microsoft packages
- Minimum GCSE grade C in English or equivalent work experience
