    £35,000-£45,000 + Package

    Are you a SeniorPlanner or Planner looking to join progressive and forward thinking Housebuilder in the North West?

    Do you want to join a business that cares about your development and offers a clear progression pathway?

    Well, if your goals are to work your way up to director while working on several interesting residential projects then this would be perfect for you. This housebuilder is looking for a Planner out of their office in Lancashire

    The role would focus on you managing and delivering on a number of smaller to medium scale projects in Manchester, Wigan, Preston and Liverpool. You would report to the Land Director but be given a great deal of autonomy to grow and shape the role. You will also work very closely with the Land team on Acquisitions and the planning strategies.

    You will be right for this role if you are reliable, dynamic, hungry to succeed, and are keen to progress your career All of which you will be doing while earning £35,000-£45,000 along with other perks such as car allowance and flexible working

    Ideally, you will be 2-3 years post-graduation and have worked for either a housebuilder or planning consultancy and MRTPI qualified.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the planning team in delivering projects,
    • Preparing planning applications
    • Conducting research
    • Aid in providing advice and guidance to clients as appropriate.
    • Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic development objectives.
    • Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.

    Key Requirements

    • Degree qualified (ideally RTPI accedited)
    • 2-3 years post graduation experience working for a housebuilder, or planning consultancy such as Marrons, DLP, Stantec or Pegasus
    • Reliable, Diligent, competent and confident with experience managing smaller to medium scale projects.
    • Understanding of managing developments through the planning application and appeal process.
    • Determined and driven individual who has the ability to make the step up to director level in medium term.
