An FTSE 250 Global Service Company is looking to recruit a skilled Finance Analyst on a permanent basis for their recently refurbished office in Manchester.

Continuous growth, resulting in having the best two years in its fifty-year financial history andrecent internal promotions has led to this role being recruited.

The purpose of the role will be supporting the finance teams and wider business in completing financial processes with agreed timeframes.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the tasks will include:

Balance Sheet Reconciliations including full investigations of any variances and improving internal controls & processes.
Reporting all differences between GL and sub ledgers and escalating issues where necessary to Management/IT.
Creation of balance sheet packs
Reconciliation and reporting on intercompany balances
Working capital reporting including month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Supporting and reporting to group finance, including R&I, nontrading, and investments postings
Support both internal and external auditors' requests.
Prepare and operate Balance sheet review controls
Strong focus on customer service, provide agreed level of service to the business and external customers
Proactively identify, research and recommend improvements to systems and processes within the team to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
