**Design Engineer
**Our Danish-owned client is experiencing a sustained period of business growth, having invested in state-of-the-art equipment. Specialising in the fabrication of gantries/walkways and handrails on behalf of blue-chip clients in the utility and environmentalsectors, they now seek to appoint an additional Design Engineer.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as Design Engineer you will design a variety of bespoke one-off products, including:

  • *
  • Walkways
  • Staircases
  • Handrails
  • Fencing
  • The Design Department uses Solidworks 3D CAD and projects may require you to work either individually or as part of a team, depending on the scale and level of complexity of the design.

_As Design Engineer you will need experience of:_

  • Solidworks 3D CAD
  • Mechanical Design
  • Microsoft Office
  • Preferable skills include:
  • Fabrication & structural steelwork
  • Autodesk Inventor

_Benefits and rewards:

  • Salary to £36,000 plus benefits
  • To secure maximum specified pay/rewards, you must possess all outlined experience, skills and knowledge
  • Full training will be provided in 3D Scanning
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week (flexible working hours)
