    Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis Unit

    This post is eligible for a Welcome Bonus of £2,500*(taxable) for successful candidates, split into 2 instalments, one at passingprobation (6 months) and the next at 18 months in post (pro rata ifapplicable).     Main duties of the job

    What does the role involve?

    Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passionalong with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspectwhilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously,responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development,implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidneydisease or acute kidney injury.

    Carmarthen Dialysis Unit operates 30 haemodialysisstations, serving up to 120 patients, in partnership with Swansea Bay Trustusing only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio 3:1patients, and you will be supported by HCAs on each shift.

    Thisis a full time role of hours a week. Current days are workingvarious shifts between to Monday to Saturday.
