Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team on-site in East Central London.


The purpose of the role will be to ensure that operational delivery performance is in line with contract obligations and the business processes.

Services to be delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all sites remain compliant.


What you'll do:


  • Supervise four engineers and one apprentice to an effective level to maintain high standards of performance at all times.
  • Manage client and building users expectations and to aim for consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Management of client relationship on a daily basis.
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's, ensuring best use of all resources to ensure targets are met.
  • Be responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site.
  • Be responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site.
  • Ensure that the site has adequate resource both labour and material to allow BS to complete contractual obligations.
  • Assist with employee succession and recruitment when authorised by senior management.
  • Effectively manage employee absenteeism.
  • Assist in the preparation of all reports required by either client or BS management team.
  • Represent CPM at all client meetings, as directed by line manager.
  • Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase revenue.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Qualified in engineering discipline at NVQ level or higher.
  • Mechanical Experience Desired.
  • 18th Edition.

  • Managing of floor fit out's.
  • Experience of FM service delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of H&S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH.
  • The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employee, customer and client.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
  • The ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Knowledge of eLogbook's systems or similar.
