Recognized as a top firm in Legal 500 and Chambers Partners, with 8 global offices with its headquarters situated in London, is looking to recruit another
junior associate into the growing and ambitious Pension Disputes and Contentious Trusts team.


What will you do:

- variety of disputes cases, which will vary from time to time between pensions disputes, private wealth disputes, and contentious trusts

  • Taking responsibility for the running all aspects of a case (you will be offered a high level of responsibility from an early stage) including:
  • Undertaking initial legal analysis and feeding into strategy at the outset of a case.
  • Liaising with the client, other team members and counsel as required.
  • Clear, concise and unambiguous preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal advice, including undertaking legal research using internal and external knowledge management resources.
  • Considering and advising on evidence, and strategy and preparation for trial.
  • Contributing to the profile of the team and undertaking business development activities from the outset, including:
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal articles.
  • Developing own informal internal and external network of contacts.

Requirements:


  • England and Wales qualified lawyer
  • A willingness to take on a variety dispute cases, including pensions disputes, contentious trusts and commercial/contractual disputes and advice
- experience in litigation

  • A technical background or training seat in pension or trust disputes.
  • Highly technical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Personable and positive attitude and enjoys working together in a team.
