Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to work within Plymouth Councils Front Door Team (MASH, Out of Hours and Initial Response).


Job Purpose

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen within Plymouth City Council Children, Young People and Families Service for a dedicated Service Manager for our Initial Response Service which includes MASH, out of hours and our initial response teams.
  • This post will provide dedicated leadership to and service improvement of our front door service with a view to delivering an excellent safeguarding response to children and families in need of statutory investigation and intervention and developing linksand pathways to targeted and universal services for those in need of an early help response.
  • You will line manage the team managers for MASH, out of hours service and initial response.
  • To be the right person to deliver our vision for the future, you will be/have been a successful manager in a children's social work setting with experience of partnership working.
  • Ideally you will have expertise of managing high quality frontline services and in leading transformational change and service improvement.
  • You will be a creative and performance driven leader with the highest aspirations for children.

You will need to be:


  • SWE registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
