Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods and materials to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule transportation routes for the delivery of goods and materials
  • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure ontime delivery
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Resolve any transportation issues or delays that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
  • Proficient in using transportation management software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
