    Description

    We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join our Audio Business Area Management Team within the UK or one of our Audio operating countries.

    In this role you will work closely with the President of Bauer Audio to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the smooth operation of the Audio business area.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Support the President on operational and strategic topics across the Audio BA.
  • Assist in monitoring business performance, strategic initiative implementation and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Identify business risks and support in the development of mitigation strategies if needed.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support decision making.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the Audio President and internal stakeholders (Group, BA, BU) and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication by drafting memos and presentations.
  • Provide syntheses of key materials for the Audio President – ensuring key messages are surfaced and communicated effectively.
  • Coordinate materials for Executive Leadership Team meetings (ELT's) owning the process from agenda drafting through to document submission.
  • Help to improve processes and optimise organisational procedures to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure BU Planning Meetings cover priority topics and that pre-reads are received and distributed to relevant stakeholders. Provide feedback to topic owners on relevant updates / decision outcomes.
  • Contribute to the annual Budget & Strategy processes.
  • Work closely with the President's Executive Assistant – and other members of the BA team as necessary - to co-ordinate and prioritise meetings, ensuring the appropriate cadence to meet business needs.
  • Person Specification

  • Track record within audio, media, or another consumer / commercial environment.
  • Previous experience of organisations where digital transformation or digital growth is a key strategic priority.
  • Experience in a KPI & data driven environment.
  • Experience with an international, multi-entity, matrix structure.
  • Natural collaborator – brilliant communicator, written and spoken.
  • Effective at stakeholder management: adept at building relationships.
  • Analytical skills using big data.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work at speed and prioritise.
  • Organised, structured and ability to see through projects from beginning to end.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural and market differences
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, particularly in contexts with loosely defined structure or scope.
  • This is a Hybrid position you will be expected to work from home and one of our Bauer Audio office locations with travel to other locations limited.
