    We're looking for a brilliant and inspiring Head of People and Culture to own and enhance our team's experience and journey through Cubitts.

    You will set the People strategy, planning for attracting, developing and retaining the best talent in the UK and Internationally.

    The role

    As the Head of People and Culture, you will play a strategic role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, safeguarding our culture and striving for improvement. You will be responsible for developing and executing People strategies that align with Cubitts' overall goals and objectives.

    Reporting to the Managing Director you will;

    • Work intimately with the leadership teams to create and set goals across the company both at department and individual levels
    • Provide logical and sound advice to Cubitts People leaders
    • Create an internal culture which exudes Cubitts values of Pioneering, Proud and For All, and achieving market-leading employee satisfaction and advocacy
    • Act as an ambassador for Cubitts, helping to educate and excite others about our mission
    • Lead a small but brilliant team of 3 FTEs which oversees Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Internal Community.

    Requirements

    What you'll do

    • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent. Implementing effective talent management strategies, including performance management, career development and succession planning.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. Delivering an ENPS score that betters each year.
    • Develop and implement programs to enhance teamwork, communication, and employee morale, reinforced by what we do and not what we don't do.
    • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness in the market and alignment with organisational goals.
    • Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures and benefits packages
    • Address employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent resolution is directed by all Cubitt's people managers.
    • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
    • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.

    Who you are

    • Experience leading, developing, and inspiring people managers with demonstrated success
    • Would rather not do something than do something mediocre
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, motivated by action
    • Proven experience in a People senior management role
    • Previous knowledge and experience of PeopleHR and CultureAmp advantageous
    • Strategic thinker who can align people initiatives with business goals
    • Humble and empathetic
    • Thrives on doing things the right way, not the easy way

    Contract: Full Time, Brewery Road HQ, some travel as required, across the UK and Internationally

    Salary: £62, ,427 depending on experience
