Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Event Sous Chef to join an Event Catering company based in Hackney.

To be responsible for the safe food produce and deliverance of events from purchase to serving, working alongside the Senior Sous Chef.

To work alongside the company HACCP system and to be knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the company food safety policy.

To abide by company recipes and standards of food preparation.
To participate in food based competitions and offer new ideas to the Senior Sous Chef.

To lead a team, ensuring they are well organised and executing their roles to the standards set by the company in absence of the Senior Sous Chefs.

To take direct responsibility for, and directly manage the event delivery process from beginning to end.
To have a clear understanding of quantities of production and distribution, packing and portioning for events.
Must have worked on events.
A flare for kitchen operational efficiency.
