Role profile:
We are looking to hire an experienced engineer lead for the data platform initiative.

who can lead team technical engineers and collaborate with product teams to deliver and advance product creation and distributions in terms of both performance and cost.

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a leader of Data platform engineering lead, the individual lead his team in design and implementation of functionality assigned to the team.

As an engineering delivery lead you will be responsible for executing and delivering the key aspects the platform vision.

This role combines technical and people management skills for data platform that require knowledge of financial data, big data processing and management, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions.

In this role you- you will lead a team of Data Engineers to design, develop, and create data product to help commercial data and analytics products- Participate in strategy and design discussion for modernizing the data product and distribution channels- You will drive the entire software development lifecycle process in support of continuous data delivery, while leading the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

Provide partnership and support to SME's and Tech Leads to ensure delivery on commitments
Build and maintain secure and compliant production data processing pipelines by using different tools and techniques (cloud services, Python/Scala)
Ensure that data pipelines and data stores are highperforming, efficient, organized, and reliable, given a set of business requirements and constraints. They deal with unanticipated issues swiftly, and they minimize data loss.
Design, implement, monitor, and optimize data platforms to meet the data pipelines needs.
Design and implement data engineering, ingestion, and curation functions on Azure cloud using Azure native or custom programming. Create data transformation and loading workflows.
