Policies:
Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
Fabrication:
Fabricate and assemble structural components of vehicle bodies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Welding:
Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and spot welding, to join metal components together securely and accurately
~ Utilise metal forming equipment such as presses, rollers, and brakes to shape and form sheet metal into required components
Assembly:
Fabrication and build: The full build phase and fabrication of the full car shell, the development of ongoing fabrication processes and jig and fixture concerns to ensure alignment with production intent
Inspect fabricated components and assembled structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in a manufacturing or automotive environment is proffered
Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and spot welding, with the ability to pass welding certification tests
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, equipment, and materials
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Physical ability and dexterity to perform fabrication tasks in a fast-paced production environment
An understanding of industry and regulatory requirements such Quality System Regulations (IATF16949, ISO9001, 5S, TPM, KPI's).
