Job description
We have a kitchen porter opportunity in our hotel on the Norfolk Broads.

The role,
- unloading deliveries
- organising the storeroom
- collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery
- getting pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use quickly
- washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
- making sure kitchen equipment is properly stored
- removing and recycling waste from the kitchen

You might also help with basic food preparation before the kitchen or restaurant opens.

- the ability to carry out tasks quickly with a can do attitude
- the ability to work on your own and use your initiative
- the ability to remain calm under pressure


This is an entry level role so no education or formal experience required just a work ethic and physical fitness as full training will be given.

Evening and weekend working essential and full time and part time considered.


Pay is £
11.44 + tips however if you are experienced and/or have an interest in food hygiene and preparation there flexibility and a career path to becoming chef with on the job training.

Wage is plus tips and a on shift meal when working over 6 hours.


Salary:
£11.44 per hour
