    Job Title: Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician x10
    Location: Walsall, West Midlands
    Compensation: Up to £27, dependent on skillset and experience + £1, bonus

    At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us you can play your part as a Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician. We are currently hiring multiple Junior Electrical Vehicle Technician candidates at our Walsall site.

    The role
    As a Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of a highly skilled team supporting our customers, including the Police, Fire, and Ambulance services.

    Day to day, you'll develop your skills and gain the ability to:

  • Fit, repair, install and integrate enhanced electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Design and develop electrical solutions for vehicles

    • This role is full time, Monday – Friday with an early finish every Friday.Based at our Walsall site.

    Qualifications for the Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant motor vehicle qualification (or proven automotive electrical experience)
  • We welcome applications from newly qualified candidates

    • The successful candidate must be able to achieve NVVP1 and SC security clearance level for this role.
