Responsibilities:

  • Review Software Contracts for specific Contract Clauses
  • Identify and report missing contract clauses
  • Negotiate with Vendors to include new contract clauses
  • Draft Amendments to contracts
  • Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners;
  • Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in SCBuy and other Systems
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations,guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Good eye for detail and with a strong focus on compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience of influencing decisions at senior leadership level
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Managing complex contractual situations
  • Ability to form effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication clear oral and written skills, effective questioning, and active listening
  • Analytical skills including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with cross cultural teams.
  • Working experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Investigating and addressing contract issues
  • Resolving legal disputes
  • Self motivated individual and able to drive results, and able to work independently.
  • Experience of working in the financial services sector and of the compliance requirements of financial services businesses (desired)
