    Description

    PLANNER – SOUTHAMPTON/HYBRID

    We are currently seeking to recruit a P6 Planner with experience of NEC suite of contracts, to manage the planning of various civil engineering projects within our Energy Division. The role is split between our Head Office in Southampton and home, with visits to sites as and when required.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

    ·Working closely with the Planning Manager

    ·Working with the operational & commercial teams to produce on going schedule update & performance reports

    ·Maintaining work sequence and activity durations for assigned projects

    ·Attending programme & progress meetings with Client

    ·Being familiar with Earned Value, Resourcing & progressing techniques

    ·Preparation of Project Changes, Budget allocations

    ·Managing schedule changes due to scope/client change requests

    ·Compensation Events & Time Entitlement Assessments

    Requirements:

    The Planner will need to have a working knowledge of Primavera P6 and knowledge of working on

    NEC contracts. You should be able to maintain work sequence and activity durations for assigned

    projects and be able to provide schedule knowledge on a continuous basis to assist in work planning

    and interfacing with others. It is essential that you possess good written and verbal skills, and have

    the ability to develop and maintain relationships. You must also have excellent time management &

    organisation skills. Having a background of working on civil engineering or construction projects is

    essential.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    HNC/HND/BSc in Engineering or by experience

    Familiar with NEC contracts

    Proficient in Primavera P6
