    The Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) Security Risk and Governance Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and analysis of VMO2 security risks and the continuous maintenance of security policies. They will support the maintenance of the VMO2 security risk register and ensure that the management of those risks and issues align with the corporate risk policy and framework and associated policies. A hugely exciting and rewarding role, the individual will need to have great interpersonal skills, a thirst to learn and work across all business domains, understand business processes and how security controls can enable the business to operate in as secure way. Strong knowledge and experience of security risk management is essential for this role as you will act as a champion in the topic with multiple stakeholders both internally, with our shareholder companies and externally with regulatory bodies and HMG. An analytical mindset is essential, you must have a good skillset using Microsoft tools to provide valuable risk and policy analysis and valuable security improvement recommendations to senior management. The Security Risk and Governance Analyst will need to support engagement with operational risk departments and provide guidance and advice on all aspects of security risk management and security policy compliance to ensure that VM operates in accordance with its legal and regulatory obligations.   • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools specifically from a support and maintenance point of view.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with senior technical teams.
  • A foundational understanding of security operations and threat detection methodologies.
