    The Opportunity

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Graduate to join our team based in Newcastle.

    You will be working alongside Senior Project Managers and Technical Leaders to understand requirements for projects and supporting them with monitoring progress to meet objectives, forecasting and budgeting

    You will be involved in significant projects from day one both locally and nationally water utilities clients, overseeing design projects for water treatment, water resources and environmental services.

    You'll be supported in your journey with the opportunity to work towards accreditation with the Association of Project Managers (APM).

    About you:

    As an individual, you'll have a keen interest in the water sector and in project management as well as:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering Management or similar
    • Have an eye for detail and proactive
    • A good communicator who can effectively mange stakeholders
    • Eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.

    Desired but not essential:

    • Previous experience via a summer placement or internship.

    Land Aid

    Stantec has partnered with property sector charity LandAid as one of its corporate partners to join its mission to end youth homelessness.

    In 2019/20, an estimated 120,000 young people asked for help from their local council because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

    It's a problem that LandAid are here to help tackle.

    As the Property Industry Charity, LandAid unite over 200 organisations from across the sector, working together to bring an end to youth homelessness.

    As a Charitable Trust, they distribute funding to frontline charities supporting the young and homeless – and primarily fund capital projects, such as renovating homes and building bedspaces.
