The role is a new position looking for a tenacious and hungry individual to join an ever growing Sales Freight Account Management team for my Client.

You shall be responsible for winning new business, maximising revenue and maintaining accounts by providingexcellent consultation to customers.

My Client is one of the fastest growing Freight forwarders within the UK specialising in in all modes of Freight Transport, 3PL and most recently within E-commerce.

During Covid they have achieved £500Million turnover in 1 year and are on track to buildup from there.


Description
The successful Sales Freight Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Find and win new business via telesales/LinkedIn/cold calling (This is a must)
  • Maximise revenue opportunities from existing customers by pursuing undeveloped areas
  • Process bookings and enter all customer information into CRM
  • Monitor bookings, ensuring high quality and level of service
  • Provide customers with accurate and costeffective quotations
  • Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activities
  • Consistently grow the gross profit and achieve monthly growth targets.

Profile
The ideal Sales Freight Account Manager will have the following key skills and attributes:

  • Ability to drive in the UK
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines
  • Experience of working in a proactive sales role either on the phone or facetoface
  • Previous experience in industry is not required
