    WHAT TO EXPECT

    This role will contribute to the planning, control and delivery of all new model launch activities for Jaguar Land Rover vehicle lines incorporating the planning and management of Plant Quality Launch activity from Online through to OTA and including vehicle attribute activities. Working closely with the Launch Manufacturing team, this role will contribute to ensuring value for money is achieved recognising the safety, quality and delivery objectives.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • PQ Budget submissions for upcoming programmes. Including major programmes and model year updates.
  • Headcount forecasts for Fiscal Year.
  • Ensuring all PQ Launch activities are carried out in line with relevant MQOS and LQOS procedures.
  • Operate as an Agile lead supporting all product quality issues adequately through the appropriate Forums - Stand ups, Scrum of scrums & Show cases.
  • Contribution to the definition of, and create, departmental and functional standards and protocols.
  • Leadership of cross functional teams to expedite launch quality issue resolution.
  • Generating appropriate data and presentation material.
  • Representing Plant Quality in Senior Launch forums.
  • Developing Inspection strategy for upcoming launches working closely with core PQ team.
  • Co-ordinate a staff team responsible for Launch Quality associates within an Agile framework.
  • Ensure completion of all PQ Launch Scorecard deliverables.
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Essential:

  • Experience of working within a Plant Quality & / or Launch Environment.
  • Candidates should have experience of Plant Quality aligned QOS procedures.
  • Have a good understanding of PCDS
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of leading large teams
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and to tight deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communications
  • Experience / understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Launch Quality Operating Systems procedures & deliverables
  • Experience of AIMS & issue management systems.
