Working directly with the Sales Manager, as our Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Sales Team on a day-to-day basis ensuring all Customer Accounts and Brand Management is running smoothly.

Key Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and promote robust, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Ensure a safe, enjoyable and professional place to work at all times whilst strengthening client relationships.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team and customer expectations.
  • Manage, develop, coach and motivate the salesteam to develop theirskillsto ensure that a professional standard is achieved.
  • Present sales, revenueand expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team when required.
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands customer base.
  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy with the senior management team.
  • Develop short-term salesplans to execute against strategy.
  • Build processes to accurately manage the master price file, price adjustments, promotions and rebates to ensure profitability of lines.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Meet with customersto discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our relationship with them.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of newproducts and competition status.

Key Account Manager

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales
  • Conscious of new trends and new brands we could work with
  • Previous experience from a consumer environment (ideally FMCG)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Highly organised with a strongwork ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Previous management experience preferred
