Job Summary

Summary role purpose:

·Reporting to the Shift Leader, lead and undertake planning, prioritising
and leading the immediate workload of the team, taking into account the service level agreement as specified by the Council whilst ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered.

·Responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of the team, whilst ensuring an effective operation and completion of all daily tasks and activities.

· Champion the compliance of all Health & Safety legislation, policy and procedures within daily operations to ensure a safe working environment.

·Support the Waste Services team by promoting a performance-driven culture of team work and flexibility, contributing to the overall success of the Council.

·Support and encourage the continuous improvement of service delivery and performance of the Waste Services team
